PAWEŁ SKRZYPEK

P.SKRZYPEK - founder, director and faculty member of the Group I ; concert pianist and academic.; Piano Depart. II Chairman at the F.Chopin School of Music. Artistic Director of the  Gold Country Piano Institute, California, USA

In 2001 Warsaw Piano Workshop  - got its new formula and structure.
Now it aims not only at young professional performers, university students and competition participants, but is extended to the wide spectrum of piano education, excluding just three first grades of elementary level.

The course is divided into two groups: Group I includes professional pianists, university and chosen college level students;  Groupa II - other college students, high and primary music school students starting from the 3rd grade. All university (and higher level) students are automatically enrolled to Group I and all primary and high school students are - by rules - enrolled to group II. WWP Director, after consul;taions with faculty members decides about  qualifying college studets to Group I or II.

ALL Warsaw Piano Worksop PARTICIPANTS COMING FROM OVERSEAS (INTERNATIONAL) ARE AUTOMATICALLY ENROLLED TO GROUP I.

The Faculty of Group I consists of leading piano teachers of Poland, concert pianists and academic professors: Paweł Skrzypek, Andrzej Artykiewicz and Czesław Stańczyk.

In Group II - the members of Faculty have exceptional achievements in field of pedagogy, proven by many competition awards won by their students. They are renowned teachers of leading Polish music schools, representing college level (as adequate to the Polish music  educational system): Joanna Kurpiowska, Zofia Antes, Mariusz Tytman and Adam Podrez.

Zofia Antes, the international concert pianist and F.Chopin School of Music full time piano teacher works as Administrative Director, responsible for organization and scheduling (lessons, practice schedules), as well as an iterpreter (English) and Assistant for appointed pedagogical tasks. 

Each year Warsaw Piano Workshop invites a Guest Master Instructor to deliver a lecture and teach one day open master classes. In the past WPW got benefit from  magnificent work of Zbigniew Raubo, Szabolcs Esztenyi, Elżbieta Stefańska and Waldemar Wojtal.

Since 2005 WPW has been working on establishing cooperation with EPTA (European Piano Teachers Association) in running the Guest Lecture Program. The result of that work is expected to come up in 2006 or 2007.

CZ.STAŃCZYK- co-funder of the WPW, faculty member of Group I ; piano professor at the Szymanowski Music Academy in Katopwice, Poland, former tutor at  "Mozarteum" in Salzburgu, judge of many piano competitions

ANDRZEJ ARTYKIEWICZ

A.ARTYKIEWICZ- faculty member of the Group I, piano professor at Music Academy in Gdamsk, Poland,  judge of many national piano competitions, former artistic director of the Fermata Workshop in Kolbudy, Poland 

JOANNA KURPIOWSKA

J.KURPIOWSKA- faculty member of the Group II ; renowned piano teacher working at the Dept. directed by P.Skrzypek at F.Chopin School of Music, adjudicator of several competitions, official piano consultant

ZOFIA ANTES

Z.ANTES- Administrative Director of the Workshop responsible for organization, intrpreter and assistant; faculty member of the Group II concert pianist, member of the Piano Dept II at the F.Chopin School of Music.

MARIUSZ TYTMAN

M.TYTMAN- faculty member of the Group II ; Piano Department Chairman at the Szymanowski Music School in Plock, Poland, fouder and organizer of the National Piano Competition in Plock

ADAM PODREZ- faculty member of the Group II ; Piano Department Chairman at the Moniuszko Music School in Bielsko-Biala, Poland, juror of several piano competitions.
